The Day Has Come

We did it! Our magazine is officially up and online! After many hours of working from home, our small staff of nine pulled through. As Editor-in-Chief, I learned many things and had to face multiple obstacles. Nonetheless, we pushed and got enough content to fill all 36 pages. I am proud of my team for not letting up and doing their best for having a new way of instruction with little to no InDesign experience.

I hope everyone realizes they did something powerful throughout a global pandemic, and this issue will be cherished for the rest of my life as my first successful project in a leadership position. Getting the social media post up is exciting and I know I could’ve done more as EIC, but I gave it my all with all the other things I had to manage, including my last full-time schedule at Pierce, along with staying inside for months during the virus to keep my family safe. I am proud to know 500 copies will still be printed despite the campus being closed all Fall semester, but we have the opportunity to have the Bull reach a wider audience when we distribute these copies to our sources and local animal supporting businesses within the vicinity. As I transfer to UCLA, I will look back at this time and know that it gives me the motivation to take my next step in my chapter of life.
