We have about three more weeks until this term is over, and our precious magazine comes to fruition. Before I send the final PDF to the printer, it is important all the stories are read over by everyone in case we missed any errors. Speaking of which, Peter had a good eye and caught a very bad GFE in the farm photo essay copy and caption. We misspelled a last name. I quickly made the changes and updated the PDF to include the correct name. After reading everyone’s story out loud, I managed to find awkward sentences in a few stories and I fixed them up. Luckily, there have been no major errors besides that GFE that I have seen. All the layout looks fine and the pictures are all pressed and ready to go. I am just waiting on anyone else to speak up if there if still another mistake hiding in one of the copies. Overall, I’m very impressed with the work and quotes gathered by our staff for these stories. No story is really weak and we have gathered enough strong photos to make each layout work. All the errors I found were punctuation and missing commas at best. I am excited to have this magazine in print and for the whole college to see (when our lives go back to normal).
